does anyone else have system members/headspace experiences with a sort of aura-like sensation? we just had a new system member form (thresh) and he's Immensely calming to be around and have physical contact with- and it calms him down too, to boot. we've had immediate bonds form between system members before upon formation/return from dormancy, but this seems to affect the entire system, and it's fascinating to me. we've had another system member (mesquite) have this kind of effect as well but to a far lesser degree, and it's pretty scarce these days, so...hard for me to test without actively seeking it out.
do any of yall have experiences like this, of any kind? positive/negative/neutral all work!

For example, we can usually feel the presence and emotions of other members. we just had a new system member form (thresh) and he's Immensely calming to be around and have physical contact with- and it calms him down too, to boot. Aww, that's adorable <3~ We love physical contact and cuddles in the headspace, I'm glad that you get to enjoy it too. Mhm, we've had instant bonds before too. Usually this is because someone just ends up really liking someone else in particular, like between me and Vulpix - he's such a precious little boy, basically like a fox kit... It's just like how "love at first sight" happens with external people, like how Hunn instantly fell in love with someone external. do any of yall have experiences like this, of any kind? positive/negative/neutral all work! I know for a fact that Logan being out usually causes the rest of us to become abnormally horny... I actually had no idea it was even abnormal until he was gone for a while and I realized "hey, this is weird". Turns out that, before a month or so ago, he was almost always out at the same time as me, so I never realized that was his passive influence. I justify this by saying he just sort of releases the horny chemicals in the brain, so it affects all of us since we share the same brain. Perhaps that could be what you're experiencing, just with calmness instead~? -Emily |

we classify this a bit differently than whatever's going on with what i'm calling auras- that we tend to call emotional bleed, but that's just the term we use.
i'm not gonna lie and say we don't have similar experiences, but this is a PG13 forum and we should keep it clean unless an area is explicitly labeled as good for that kind of discussion

When a mental construct of mine was very active around 2020, the most common sign of it being around was an aura of "being watched," or like having your balance slightly tilted on a trampoline. Emotional bleed is something I have had from such things too, but it only happens rarely and is the main way they seem to communicate, if at all.
